The AHS Arts Foundation supports the performing arts students, productions, and programs at Alhambra High School in Martinez, California.
Service on the board committee makes a big impact on the student experience and is personally rewarding for drama families and those interested in youth performing arts! Members get a front-row seat to decisions that affect our students - funding program priorities, organizing events, supporting productions, and watching students grow into competent performers and leaders.
All are welcome to attend meetings which are held in the evenings eight months out of the school year, either virtually or in-person. Members must attend a minimum of two meetings per semester and perform a minimum of one volunteer job per production in order to participate in votes put to the committee. Volunteer jobs can be minimal investments of time, contribution of special skills, or more involved such as coordinating a committee or leading a project.
